Bambi

My awesome online buddy, Micaela of The Drifter and the Gypsy recently posted this great Japanese editorial inspired by Bambi. It's from the brand Syrup and the neutral colors and mixed prints in this look are by far my favorite. It's way too good not to share.

It's been an awfully rainy afternoon. I've spent it taking a PR exam, rounding up materials for a floral wreath, and kissing my new BCBG platforms that just arrived in the mail! Hopefully if the sky clears up I'll be able to show them to you soon. But I think the weatherman's calling for rain until Saturday. Isn't it supposed to be April showers?

Japanese Streets

I spent some time lurking around the Japanese Streets website the other day. It's ridiculous how obsessive my clicking got by the end – I went through all 60-something pages. The Harajuku look isn't so much my thing, but the hope that I'd come across a really good outfit like one of the ones above kept me going. I told you before that I haven't always been into Japanese fashion, but I'm really starting to appreciate their ability to layer. I guess (in my humble opinion) some of them over do it, but if that's what they like, why stop it?

My favorite look is the one with the squirrel sweater and the fur collar, and the one with the Bonnie and Clyde looking beret and dress! Which look is your favorite?

Fray I.D.

Sorry to be so quiet around here today. I've been a master procrastinator this week putting off both of my Sync articles until today – I submit two every other Tuesday – and skipping out on *most* of my Christmas shopping until now. I still haven't had time to do it, so I'll be a at the store with all the rest of the bozo's tomorrow (raise your hand if you're with me!). 

I have lots of outfit photos on my card reader to show you, but until I find time to edit those I'll just keep sharing some of my favorite collections. I left the Japanese labels alone for a bit (like, half a day), but surprise, surprise, I'm back on track again today. This label is called Fray I.D. and I'm head over heels for the lush 60s vibe in their latest collection! Favorite piece: fur collar camel coat with *to die for* bow buttons. It's going on my thrift list, but I have a feeling this one isn't going to surface.
