Bonnaroo.

I thought some Bonnaroo '09 recap photos would be appropriate for my last post before I go. The cars all packed, and here we are sitting around ready to leave! The trip to Bonnaroo always fills us with so much anxiety. You have NO IDEA where they're going to park you and whether or not your going to be right next to Centeroo or a mile away. The first year I went we were the furthest campsite from the center. It was dreadful. This year we've planned it right! We're going early to a camping only site, and we sent our tent and tarps with our other friends who are going even earlier. This time tomorrow I'll have already seen Here We Go Magic, and I'll be making my way to Neon Indian, The Dodos, and The XX!

My Friday schedule is a busy one! I'm planning on watching Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, The Gossip, The National, She & Him, Tenacious D, The Black Keys, and LCD Soundsystem. Holy wow, that's going to be a big day.

Saturday is going to be more of a lazy day with most of my favorites playing at night. I'm looking forward to The Dead Weather, (Jack White <3), Stevie freakin' Wonder, and the Dan Deacon Ensemble. If I'm really lucky and feel like waiting in line for the comedy tent all day I'll get to see Conan too!

Sunday is shaping up to be a pretty good one too which is quite the opposite from previous years I've attended Bonnaroo. I'll finally get to see Regina Spektor which I've missed too many times before, then there's Ween and Phoenix. I'm leaving before Dave Matthew Band plays so I can get to Rachel's house in Nashville before it's too late. She's putting a little BBQ together for me and my friends, and we're having a slumber party! Monday will be spent exploring Nashville with Rachel.

I'm a little overwhelmed with excitement right now! I plan on taking outfit photos and 'street style' photos, but we'll see how much I care about the camera once I get out there. I'll leave you with a DIY I did on an outfit for the trip. I'm a little too happy about the heart shaped sunburn I'm about to have on my back if it doesn't end up storming the entire time.

Stay tuned, I've got some really great guest bloggers scheduled while I'm gone. See you soon, I'll miss you all so much!

I love your new blog layout! So cute

Good luck at bonaroo. I've never been (which is ridiculous considering how close it is to Nashville) for the exact reasons you are listing for your anxiety. But I feel it's one of those "musts" for your youth.

Your pictures are making me feel I need to go. P.S. Love the outfit!

I just saw Neon Indian Monday night - they were GREAT. I'll post photos as soon as Venus takes their pick first.

The XX are also growing on me - I've seen them twice live and got to meet them at my church, and they were SOOOOOO nice that I had to give them a third chance, and I like their recorded stuff a lot - I thought the live show was dull.

You're going to have a blast though, and I can not wait to hear all about it and see the adorable photos you're going to take!

My gosh! I LOVE that you DIYed a heart cut out on that romper!!! Heart cut outs are the best things in the world and make me wish that 1) Luella didn't close up shop and 2) I could actually afford Luella clothing, except now I'm kind of tempted to get a pair of scissors and cut a heart out of one of my dresses/rompers!

Have the best best best time ever in Bonnaroo! It'll be such a blast!!

And I've turned your BBQ into the beginning party of my birthweek. I'm so selfish!
