sponsor giveaway & insects

For today's giveaway I teamed up with Katy from the Moonshine Hill to bring you one of the sweetest vintage button ups I've ever seen. Not only is it done in everyone's favorite fabric of the season, chambray, but it's also handmade from the 70's and filled with the cutest novelty insect print. I picked out my favorite insect on the shirt (the butterfly, duh) and rounded up a couple photos of them! It seems as though butterflies have been inspiring people for years now.

I would wear it with the cuffs rolled up with either a high waist denim skirt or a pair of pleated denim shorts. I'm not sure how they would work, but I think I'd go for a pair of bright red socks with my sky high Cynthia Vincent platforms (you'll see them soon). I'd definitely pair it with my new Baggu canvas backpack (which I've also yet to show you, but LOOOOVE), and some sort of hat; I'd have to try on a few of those to figure out which one works best!

But, it's not up to me. It's up to one of you guys.

The shirt is a size small with a bust measurement of approximately 34".

To enter visit Moonshine Hill and pick out your favorite item and tell me how you'd style it. Even if your not interested in the shirt you should still check out Katy's site. The photography is very similar to my style, the website is really well done and easy to navigate, and the clothes are really cute too. To keep up with shop follow Katy's blog or become a fan of the shop on Facebook.

It reminds me of an old peasant dress. I would pair it with my short brown leather Lucky Brand boots and my vintage brown saddle bad.

yey finally a shirt that is in my size on a giveaway! hooray for being small busted. I love it which helps.

I love Vintage Handmade Dirndl and would wear it probably barefooted honestly. I would wear my huge black rimmed hat with it too.

The grey washed silk dress would look perfect with yellow flats and a soft tan leather tote purse and a stack of delicate gold bangles.

Her shop is way too gorgeous. I would actually pick two things if I could right away. The Blue Velvet tooled belt and pair it with a simple black cotton dress and the same blue colored velvet Moroccan slippers and a hat. The other item is the Multicolored fabric belt just dying to be combined with a white mens' shirt with the calves rolled and simple straw sandals. As for this shirt.... I just die thinking about the possible combo's I could come up with. sigh......

I just love the Vintage Handmade Dirndl. I'd wear it with a pair of huarache sandals, a fun headband (maybe in a subtle peach color), and a simple cardigan if it's cooler.

Hooray for brown. Excited to see your new purchases on the blog soon.

I think I've gone a little canvas backpack crazy after seeing it here and on Lulu Letty. Oh dear. I think I'll go back for the one I spotted in a thriftshop.

I love the gray-washed silk dress. It's simple, comfortable. I'd style it with a wide-braided leather belt, and some flat sandals or leather oxfords. This would be perfect for hot summers!

This an adorable store. There's so many beautiful items here! I can't choose between two items.

The first is that vintage handmade dirndl that everyone seems to be in love with. I would pair it with a flowy white blouse and some gladiator sandals that lace up your calf, and a straw hat.

The second is the vintage tooled leather horses and roses bag. I love horses, and this is just adorable! It would be a perfect accessory for a highwaisted denim mini skirt, a lacey tank, and some dark ankle boots.
