I promise I'm not morbid, I just like to be alone.

I made my way back to the cemetery for the second time this week to take yet another set of outfit photographs. When I take the photos around my block I feel absolutely ridiculous; here I am in the the center of downtown walking around in a fancy dress and platform heels with a camera attached to a tripod. I didn't used to think it was that big of a deal until I got a letter on my car that said "Yo!". It was from the painter across the street telling me how hot I was in all my skirts and that I should look him up on facebook or text him because "I'd like what I'd see".

It creeped me out a tad, so I figured why not head back to the cemetery! At least there I'm all alone with pretty landscape and no buildings to block the sunlight.

I started my day off with tights, then quickly realized how unnecessary they where. I'm totally okay with these unusual November temperatures!

i am a total introvert, so i understand your love for such a quiet place.
that note does sound creepy, and a little funny as well.
i live in san francisco...so that's where the Baths i posted about are/were located.

you could approach the people looking at you and ask them in a foreign accent if they could take a photo of you and pretend to be a tourist/exchange student. that would be funny:D

although "strawberry blonde" sounds lovely (i've never heard that term), i might give the dark hair a try when my sun highlights have faded a little more, we'll see

I absolutely know what you mean about feeling self-conscious taking photos. I feel like an absolute dork, and I'm nowhere near as photogenic as you. One day I will step off my front porch and out into the real world.

Understand how you feel when taking photos on self timer/tripod and people are staring. I don't quite like that kind of attention.

And the painter story is so funny and a little scary as well!

Beautiful taken photos at the cemetery again:) I love the surroundings of it.
I didn't know you took photos on your own,I've always thought someone helped you with them.

wow,you really do take stunning photos,I'm serious!
Beautiful jacket with that lovely navy skirt. And your bag with that vintage veil,I want them please ! heeee

Yeaa Christmas is so so soon. I need to start saving up too. And I'll tell my sister what you said. She'll be so happy:)

I dont understand why men think it is OK to creep all the ladies out. I think some of them actually think it works or they know it doesnt but they just want to be jerks!

Regardless, you look beautiful! I am new to your blog but I love the hats!

You are so pretty! I adore your style and your pretty blog.
As for that painter, you should have kicked him in the butt. And it is probably better that you find pretty locations like this cemetery for your photos.

Sadly I had to go to a cemetary yesterday for a funeral, but I did think of your last post and how you are right- the cemetary is a lovely place to take pictures.

This outfit is so lovely! You are just too pretty for words.

Gorgeous photos!! I love the picture of the little Coach bag sitting all by itself in the cemetery!! I'm also partial to the last picture -- more people should spend time twirling!!

You look lovely; the hat is the icing on the cake! Too bad about the creeper note, that would definitely make me super uncomfortable as well.

Thanks for the comments on my wedding photos! We had an amazing photographer who really took my "I love really sort of avant-garde photography" to heart!

Also, I think i might break out the Doc Martens! It is getting chilly here in Chicago and they are fantastic in the cold! I just can't believe that if I had had a child instead of buying Doc Martens, my child would be in the 7th grade....CREEPY!

That guy across the street sounds CREEPY!!!

Ooh, but I love your outfit. I've been wanting to wear tweed too and I usually get scared of full on tweed suits, but wearing just the jacket with another skirt looks really great!

Um, yeah, I'd say a cemetery sounds WAY less creepy than the "Yo!" guy anyday. Actually, I really love cemeteries, especially the old ones.

Wonderful outfit and I love the jacket too, I've been looking for a nice tweed blazer myself :)

And that jacket is so beautiful on you, what a steal only $5???? It has such a gorgeous cut.
