Miss Chung & Sketch Illustration Tees

It's probably no surprise to hear that I'm all ga-ga over the uber stylish Alexa Chung's wardrobe just like the rest of the blog world. She cute as can be with a British accent and the most flawless taste and I don't know where we'd be without her fashion influence.

I was particularly smitten with this layered look when I saw it a while back on various blogs and fashion sites. My favorite thing about the outfit had to be that black and white sketched John Belushi tee. It looks so simple and comfy with that outfit and in such neutral colors, a great piece to have around.

And it's wearable with skirts or pants.

I've kind of had my eye out for something like it ever since I saw those photos and finally I came upon something I liked, a lot!

I couldn't decide between that one or this one, but decided to go with the ponytail gal for the simple fact that it's black and white.

I just stumbled upon Caitlin's blog for the first time today and immediately knew I had to have one! I know this seems a little contradictory to my previous post, but I splurged on this with my birthday money I've had since the beginning of August. I just couldn't justify spending my bday cash on bills or food.

Now for the worst part, waiting for it to get here!

Caitlin's work is so magical! I just adored it from the moment I saw it!
I'm planning on getting a whole heap of prints from her to go around my apartment!

oh! I just realised I have a tee from about 3 years ago that I can recreate this look with!
Sometimes being a hoarder isn't so bad :P

I just love these shirts! So amazing! You have to treat yourself with your birthday money! I always make sure to keep mine aside and buy something I want, not need with it! Good choice! :)
