Video: Tie a Turban

I recently had a local friend/ex coworker/fellow blogger, Amy of The Bee Dot, request a video of my turban tying tricks. Since I wrote all about them in Sync, she thought it would be a nice to include a video tutorial with the article. I wish I was brave enough to talk in my videos, but I just can't do it; I hate listening to myself talk. I copped out and put it to Cousin Emmy's I Wish I Was in Bowling Green, instead. Looking back, it seems arguably unpatriotic to our city, picking a song about Bowling Green and all, but I liked the way it fit with the aged film. It's a little fast, but hopefully it's still helpful!

Great video tutorial, it's a lot easier to do than I imagined! It's a style I definitely want to try this summer when it gets humid and my hair frizzs out.

Omg love it! Great use of the longer scarves, I'll try this out this week :) Have you seen the British Pathe 1940s turban tying video? It's really cool, been doing that lately, just love turbans!

This is SO helpful! I have a feeling there will be a lot of turbans in my future when Baby comes! I dont want to be one of those moms who cuts their hair!

YOU ARE TOO ADORABLE!

I love the way you show the very carefully placed bobby pins. So clever, this video rocks, and you are a beauty queen. Can't wait to try the turban scarf style. I wear scarves on my head all the time, but never tied forward like this!
