Pocket full of posies.

I think I mentioned these photos a few weeks ago, but I've been too busy to edit them until now. The theme and styling of the outfits was strictly based around Corey's pants. He found them at Saver's a few months ago, but every time he wore them for some pictures something else always came up before we could photograph them. On this particular day, I promised him that I would finally get around to shooting them. I thought it would be fun to style some similar looks for me and Brittany, too.

On me: Blouse: Etsy // Skirt: Estate Sale // Shoes & Hat: Saver's
On Brittany: Blouse: Thrifted // Trench: Saver's // Tights: Zara // Shoes: Payless
On Corey: Shirt, Pants, Shoes: Saver's

I'm so used to doing these pictures alone that it was nice to have some company behind the camera for a change. I think both Brittany and Corey looked extra cute too! We looked like little school children. My favorite shot is the one towards the top where Brittany and I are throwing our hats in the air. Do you see where my hat is and where I'm looking? ha. It doesn't even make any sense, but I look so darn happy.

Your photos just get more and more gorgeous by the day. You tell the most exciting stories; like a peek into someone's life that you really, really want to be a part of! And I must say, I always want to come join and be a part of your photo shoots! Love, A.

Haha, these are great! I especially love the ones where you've snatched her beret. Her surprised look is priceless. And you, m'dear, you are so full of mischief!

These photos are amazing, they look like an editorial, your blog is the most professional looking I've ever seen, but not in an unrelatable way-you still tell such sweet, funny stories. These outfits are so nice too.

Gorgeous is the word that popped in my head at first glance :) Not very original since it seems I'm not the only one, but it's all the more true I suppose !

I love that you styled a photoshoot and outfits around Corey's pants! It's all so good and '70s, and Mary TYler Moore -style hat throwing is always a plus!

Yes, happy school children. Just in time for Chronicles of Narnia which I'm watching tonight. WooT. I am also dying to see the inside of the white house in the background of the first picture. The style is different from any I've seen before!

Starr, these photos are crazy beautiful and they're classy in a way that breaks my heart a little maybe because I live in France now and sometimes I am made so aware that I live in a place that has been so used to being the epicenter of art and music and all lovely things for not just a decades but a few hundred years and the weight and the pressure of being classic of being elegant sometimes makes me think of how I wish I could be as elegant as you! Is this a convoluted comment? I think so, but maybe this weirdo confusion is the only way I can express my admiration for your photoshoots!

love,
Jenny
