One wish.

Today is my favorite kind of day! Even though I know shouldn't have, I skipped my first two classes to hit up an estate sale where I scored a handful of vintage pieces. I feel confident in what I'm wearing. I found time to flip through more pages in my Lula. And, I get to spend the rest of the day hemming dresses and styling all kinds of spring clothes for a shoot I have scheduled on Sunday. I don't know if any of that sounds like smiles to you guys, but these are the kinds of days I look forward to.

Here's my outfit from yesterday. I know I just wore this dress the other day, but when I couldn't find my floral top I decided to just slip a skirt on over the ole' dress for a completely different look. The cowboy boots were a Memphis purchase that will be going to shop sometime next week.

Dress: Saver's $7
Skirt: Goodwill $4
Cowboy Boots: Memphis Thrift Store (selling on Etsy next week!)
Purse: Estate Sale $15
Fedora: Estate Sale $8

Loving the mixed prints, and the use of a dress as a shirt. Two of my favorite things. Also, gold star for noticing that Model Megan was doing the Conan string dance. I'm glad someone picked up one that.

That sounds like a dream day! I'm glad you had fun, sometimes it's nice to just throw responsibilities out of the window for a day and enjoy life! You look great, too! I love your skirt =)

Oh oh, i'm blushing with more compliments you give me! Thanks! I really think that is one of my best shoots in a LONG time.
and yes there are tons of really nice blogs out there. I get sad sometimes when there are ones that are so incredible that no one reads or links at all. . .I guess I love the underdog haha. Of course there are ones that have loads of popular blogs that definitely deserve it! I have to say though, your blog is one of my top favourites that I look forward to seeing entries of.

Ahh I adore that skirt, I just went to Goodwill. I scored an awesome trench and pleated maxi skirt :) That place is the best! Looking forward to the photos from the shoot :) Have a lovely weekend, Starr!

LOVE this look! I have been craving some cowboy boots for my own wardrobe. Maybe it's about time I caved in...

Starr you always have the cutest skirts! Hehe, I always am tempted to skip school for thrifting, especially on Tuesdays, since this awesome thrift store shuts down on Mondays in order to prepare all of their new items. It's a terrible dilemma!

So cute. I'm completely obsessed with pattern-mixing...mainly because I am horrid at it. You look great!

Hey Starr! So you managed to figure it out! Did you use the blogger buster tutorial or did you find another tutorial? It looks great! If you want your background to be fixed, you can write this under your background section in the html:

background-attachment: fixed;

Or else your background scrolls as the viewer scrolls. Just in case you want it :) But otherwise, it looks really good! Yay! If you need further help, just ask :) Have a good weekend!

I really need to give the whole dress-as-shirt thing a try soon. You definitely worked it! I don't know about anyone else, but your day sounded fantastic to me. Happy weekend!

Oh sorry, so if you check out my background, it doesn't moved, it is fixed, which to me is preferable, but that's just me. Right now your background scrolls with the whole layout. I hope I explained it well this time. I like that the sidebars are separate to the body :) Good job on the html, Starr :)
