Tee: Michael Stars from Box Turtle
Skirt: LOVE Vintage
Sandals: Urban Outfitters
Harmonica Necklace: Modcloth
Hat: Merona Floppy Hat from Target
The weather in Little Rock has been really great all weekend. I think spring is finally here to stay and that means that bare legs and floppy hats are here to stay, too! This is the Target hat I was talking about the other day. So happy I was finally able to find a floppy hat for a good price.
I've been holding onto the sheer skirt for months waiting for this weather to get here! I got it from my good New Zealand blog buddy, Ayesha of A Little Brighter. She has the most amazing vintage shop, that unfortunatley isn't accessible to us Americans. She was sweet to work out a special deal for me! The skirt reminded me so much of one of my childhood dresses. I had to have it!

I'm in a shoe and hat buying frenzy right now, too, trying to round up all the pieces I need for the new season. This pair of sandals is from Urban Outfitters. They're kind of a pain on my feet, but I love them too much to complain. On the hat front, I'm sort of lusting hard after this one from Box Turtle. I'm trying not to over shop on the floppy hats, but I think I may have to make a trip up there this week to seal the deal on this one. What do you think? Should I get it?
I've been trying to hit up all my favorite neighborhood spots before the big move. I've showed the wooden swing a lot of love here on the 'ole blog, but I can't say same for MacArthur Park. It was first used as an arsenal during the 1830s and later as military barracks during the Civil War. Corey and I walked over and played with the ducks for a bit last week –– I only had one fly at my head. It's not exactly a goodbye to the area though. Corey will still live a block from my old place, so I'm sure they'll still make some appearances every now and then.
