This year has been such a fun ride! It was my first full year of blogging, and it has been such an amazing experience. It's hard to remember a life before the blog! I'm usually too overwhelmed to do 'a year in review' type post (too much content to pick from), so this year I decided to keep in simple. I broke it down into four seasons and listed four great memories that I have from each.

♥ I got back in school for the first time in two years. I've never been more excited to learn.
♥ I got a new iMac, along with an updated version of photoshop the first week of January. Both tools had a huge effect on what I could do with my blog.
♥ My sister Kristi helped with lots of pictures because it was so cold out!
♥ We got snow (twice) and spent both days at the Clinton library sledding the hills.

♥ I had a deep obsession with Chambray.
♥ I opened an etsy shop and styled lots of fun photo shoots for me and my friends.
♥ I got my first cat, Monkeycat, and she's since become a very important member of our little family.
♥ I made my first video!

♥ I went to Bonnaroo and saw Dan Deacon, She & Him, and tons of other favorites.
♥ Jake and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary.
♥ I turned 25. My blog turned 1.
♥ I got to revisit the historic bath houses in Hot Springs!

♥ I went to New York during fashion week and met so many great blogger friends!
♥ The tripod and I broke up. Corey started taking all my pictures instead.
♥ I wore lots and lots of orange.
♥ I got a dream job: getting paid to write about fashion.
Thank you to all of the wonderful readers who have followed my blog throughout 2010. I'm so grateful to every single one of you! I definitely think that 2010 will go down as one of my favorites. Let's hope for lots more great memories in 2011! Have a happy and safe new year, everybody.

A Sparkly New Year.

Even though I have the perfect gold lame dress picked out for tonight, my sad little schedule tells me I have to work. So instead of parties stocked full of sparklers and champagne, I'll be entertaining rich people while they enjoy the sweet liquids in their flutes. It's not all bad though. I have a feeling my coworkers and I will have our share of champagne, which is great even if it's not in a fancy gold dress.

I'll just celebrate through pretty pictures instead.
