Dress: Hannah's
Hat: Target
Jodhpur Boots: c/o Swedish Hasbeens
The best part about long breaks from school is all the extra time I get to spend with my friend Hannah Keen. We're very like-minded ladies, so when school's in session and I don't get to see her often, I miss her terribly. Yesterday we got together for some pictures near one of my favorite old signs in the city. The area is pretty run down and on a very busy street, but we got it done safely! The only trouble we ran into was with the hotel manager.

He came running over to us outside at some point, screaming about how he had had enough of us. He said that we needed to leave before he called security. He wasn't nice about it at all, and it might be because when we went in to ask about rates for the rooms and inquired as to whether there was vintage furniture, Hannah accidentally said "how much do you charge per hour?" Ha! We just wanted to take pictures. Who knows what he thought about us and what we were doing.
If you follow me on Instagram, you'll know that Hannah got some really exciting news earlier this week. Her mom sneakily submitted some of the photos I've taken of her to a local modeling agency, and they loved them! She's now a signed model looking for work. I'm so proud of her!
I can't wait to share the photos she took of me yesterday. I think she's a really great photographer too!

When I saw that first photo in my blog feed I thought for sure it was from a magazine editorial. Well done! :)

Wicked photos! I like the pale colours, so beautiful. WHat a douchebag manager, I don't get why people have t be like that? Like someone else said, he should be happy about the publicity! :)
Ps. I love your header as well!
LOL! Love these pics - I've seen this sign in the past (I think) on my way to the State Fair. Classic.
Starr Your pictures always look like they come straight out of a magazine, I actually thought it was from mag, you defintely have an eye and find some amazing places to take photograhs. Congrates to your friend Hannah!

i wish she could model for my shop!
These pictures are fantastic. You're photography just keeps getting better and better all the time. That story with the motel manager is hilarious! I wonder what he thought you were doing? :D
Great pictures!! And that is a very funny story about the manager haha I don't know why people feel like they have to be so rude. You guys were just having fun

haha that is such a funny story. How rude! Technically, you cant call the cops on people to get off your property. We all pay property taxes so there is really no such thing as private property. Great pics though!
