Faceless Trunk Show

Belt: Antique Mall
Vintage Trunk: Estate Sale

Corey and I haven't been able to get together for pictures in a while. He just acquired a new schedule which has him booked up during the early evening hours when we used to go out on our mini adventures. This means that I'm having to use my tripod again! It's so tough getting used to after having a personal photographer around for the past six months.

My biggest worry with the tripod is finding a good, discrete place to post up. It's awkward, and I can't believe that I used to be so fearless with it. Corey has spoiled me. I'm lucky to have a couple friends with a nicely hidden backyard just a few blocks away. My favorite part about their yard is that they don't cut their grass; it's the perfect place for me to tuck away with my tripod and run around barefoot. I'm sure it will become a frequent photo locale for me throughout the summer.

I wanted to give a huge thank you to Huckleberry Vintage for sending over this amazing dress. I'm sure it will be frequently used throughout summer too! Maybe next time I wear it I'll even show my face.

I love the dress and these photos! And I know exactly what you mean about having to find some little hidden away place to take photos...luckily I have a little meadowy place in the woods by my house where I take a lot of my pics.

That last picture is hilarious! In a beautiful way.

I've just temporarily lost my photographer too. Man, I'm so not looking forward to tripoding it in the city...

i love these pictures. your dress is so pretty. i totally know what you mean, bc my bf takes my photos only when he isnt working. i have sort of given up on looking awkward and posed in self timed pics... i try to find other content on the days he isnt around... or i flick off weirdos who stare, esp creepy dudes (but sssh :) )

Love the photograph of you stepping into the crate, it looks like you're just going to fall in and continue to fall forever. I've been getting more confident about taking photos with my tripod in public places, but it is really awkward when everyone is gawking at you. So I also prefer more private locations!

Gorgeous photos! I love the vintage trunk as a prop; it looks amazing. I wish my backyard was a nice as this to take my photos in... I am going to have to brave some public places with my tripod I think, but I also need a remote! I am sure that would make it so much easier than the self timer... :O

Beautiful dress and amazing pictures. Ugh, finding a hidden place to take pics is so hard. I always seem to have random people come upon me no matter how hidden I think I am!
