a 60s look

Blouse & Hat: Goodwill
Shoes: Salvation Army
Purse: Estate Sale
Sunnies: Forever 21
Bunny Ring: c/o Romwe

Hi guys! That hiatus was much longer than I expected, but I'm happy to be back taking pictures and doing fashion related things again. I still have finals on my plate this week, but for the most part, the hard stuff is behind me. My mind is slowly shifting from thinking about things like French and art history to planning outfits and themes for friend photoshoots. Fun!

Corey and I made time for some photos over the weekend, and it was so refreshing to be outdoors again! The weather was breezy and cool and perfect picture taking weather if you ask me. I've been collecting new things from thrift stores and online shops lately, and I couldn't wait to wear some for these pictures.

No surprise, I think my favorites are the two pieces that I'm wearing: a 60s floral cotton blouse from Goodwill and a new chambray empire waist dress from Miss Selfridge. I'm sure the dress will carry me through the next few months, because it's loose and baggy and just what I need when the summer heat hits the south. Yesterday was 92º and humid, and it reminded me of last August when Hannah and I wrote a short film and went to tape it but couldn't because it was 115º and miserable and we didn't have an ounce of creative energy in our bodies. It's too early for all that stuff.

Photos by Corey!

Welcome back!
Man, I do not miss those summer days in Arkansas. We're just now starting to stay above 60 up here. Such a late spring.
Love this look so much.

Love your hat and lovely getup. Oh my that ring is ridiculously sweet! It's still cool and breezy in nyc. A little too cool for me. It's sort of like an iced coffee by day hot chocolate by night kind of spring.
