The Edge of Town

Dress: c/o Romwe
Skirt: Francesca's Collection
Denim Jacket: Saver's
Shoes: Urban Outfitters
Necklace: Target

We went back to the abandoned boat dock yesterday. Things hadn't changed much since the last time we were there, except that one of those 70s house boats was gone. The old GMC was still there and so were the other trucks and houseboats and all that rusty machinery. The dock is set on the Arkansas River, just on the edge of town, next to a couple of airports. Planes were coming in real low the whole time we were there, almost close enough to touch. The atmosphere was great and I love that the photos turned out looking kind of country.
Photos by me & Corey!

These photos are beautiful, and I never would have thought to pair such a formal looking black dress with a denim jacket. Love it! xoxo

Beautiful photos Starr! You look gorgeous as always. I love the sweet romantic look of your dress against the dirty broken down buildings and truck. Your sandals are lovely too.

Whenever I see your photo shoots I really feel there is an interesting back story going on. You really create that feeling you get looking at vintage photos - like who is that girl in the great dress and where is she going?

Lovely getup. The boat dock is such a perfect setting for photos. You guys find the best run down places! Places like these are harder and harder to find in nyc.
