Celebrate Spring: Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema

I can't believe how close we are to the official start of spring. It's my favorite season for fashion and for taking pictures and making movies. There's nothing more inspiring than bright flowers to coordinate your outfits with and to use as a backdrop in your blog photos. It's very invigorating for me in my blog projects!

I couldn't think of a better way to get the excitement started than with a peak at Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema's work. If you're not familiar with Alma-Tadema, he was a Victorian painter known for his beautiful depictions of Classical antiquity. They're so optimistic and human. I'm so inspired by the colors and the details, the floral crowns and the draped dresses, the marble terraces and the deep blue Mediterranean Sea.

I'm using his work in an upcoming Sync project, but I couldn't wait much longer to share it with you guys. Twelve days until spring; let the countdown begin!
