It was sort of a given that I would snatch this one up when I saw it on Jennifer's blog, Sally Jane Vintage. She always lists the best stuff in her shop, but I can never seem to get my hands on anything that I want because it's such a popular place. On this particular day, I made it just in time!
That's been at least a month now, and I've been wearing it like a dirty hippy ever since. Of all the warm and cozy sweaters in my closet, nothing compares to this one! It's super warm, super stylish, and it fits in nicely with my ridiculous western phase. As much as I've worn it, it's shocking that I haven't taken any pictures of it until now.
This is sort of unrelated, but while we're on the topic of new things, I wanted to tell you a little bit about my new J Brand jeans, too! I neeeever spend a lot of money on jeans – I've been wearing the F21 $12.90's for ages now – but this year I made a point to invest in some. J Brand's are normally priced around $180, but I found these on Rue la la for an amazing $80. The site is by invite only, so if you're not already a member and interested in joining feel free to use my email address for your invite code! (starrcrow@live.com)

I so love Cowichan sweaters, but I've never been able to find the perfect one (for the perfect prices, anyway). That one comes pretty close though, and I love these pictures!
What an amazing sweater, it is perfect for your western phase like you say. Love it paired with the feminine blouse and the lovely hat. I really must invest in some good jeans, then maybe I'd actually wear them.
That sweater is amazing!
Yay! The sweater looks amazing on you and I'm so glad you ended up with it. :)
Great outfit and great shoot. I love how you put everything together for this. That sweater looks amazing!
What an adorable sweater! Animal prints/patterns are the best. :D
You are vraiment adorable and the sweater is super mignon! I always die when I see you rocking a hat because then I think Starr is the only person in the world I know who can wear the hell out of a hat! And your last post made me feel sorry for myself because I sold my Swedish Hasbeen jodhpur boots for the measly price of 40 euros (which was a total mix-up and not my fault) and now I can't afford new ones and my old ones are gone! But I can live vicariously through your beautiful pictures.
xx Jenny

Hooray for you finally receiving an animal print sweater!!! Was it a dream come true? hehe. I remember seeing that in Jennifer's shop too. She really does have the best listings. I've bought a few things from her and have loads in my favorites too. People always end up buying them before me when I go to get them. These photos are lovely of you Starr! I hope you wear it all the time now.
Most excellent :D
You make for one stylish wild west hippy ;)
That hat is so cool too. I meant to thief my Dad's old gardening hat when I was visiting my parents (quite similar) but alas my suitcase was already bursting. So I'll have to swoon over yours for a while yet..
I love your sweater! And I absolutly want your Argus Camera, it makes so chic!!
That sweater is GREAT. Sally Jane has the best stuff. I love the sweater/jeans/boots combo right now. Pretty much living in it myself.
Beautiful pictures and outfit. I adore that sweater & hat, so well put together, it's a perfect outfit to wear for a lovely afternoon stroll.
PS love the J.Brand jeans, congrats on a fantastic score.
