Blush

Blouse: Goodwill
Skirt: Francesca's Collection
Tights & Hat: Target
Shoes: c/o Wanted Shoes
Purse: Mulberry for Target

As long as I've had this blog, I don't think I've ever given you guys a peek into my bedroom. To be honest, it's pretty much the messiest place in our house, but for this particular day, I moved all the clutter to the other side of the room, behind the camera! Corey's been working a lot, the temperatures are super freezing, and the thought of going outside with my tripod sounds miserable, so I just decided to make a little spot indoors for now.

The shirt I'm wearing is another thrift find that I forgot to mention the other day. I said I wanted to add more blush colored things to my closet, and voila, Goodwill did it for me in no time. The purse, shoes, and skirt are all new things I've collected over the past month, too. I feel bad about owning the Mulberry for Target purse because I bought the exact same one for Tieka as her Delightful Dozen Secret Santa gift, but Jake saw how much I liked it and decided to buy me one for Christmas, too. Hopefully Tieka doesn't mind being twinkies!

I'm not sure why I went with such a dreamy edit for this set of photos, but I guess it's because my room is filled with all the magical, girlie, dreamy things that I'm not allowed to display in the living room. Oh, the pains of living with a man!

Haha I like the non-messy part of you room at the least. You should see my room sometimes :/

I know what you mean! I'm only allowed to have my girly things in the bedroom, where nobody else can see it. But it's floral bed sheets all the way to make up for it!

These photos are really beautiful & I love your outfit! x

What a lovely room - the hats hung on the wall are great, I would like to do the same but need to get permission from our landlord for hooks! Mr D is fairly easy going but I do try to keep the girliness contained in the bedroom - it must be touch being a guy and just wanting things to be sensible when flowers and feathers and glitter and shoes keep appearing all over the place!

Your bedroom is making me embarrassed about how crappy mine looks. Because I'm renting, I can't do much to decorate it, plus all the furniture chosen by the landlady is kind of shitty. Ah well. It's just a room for sleeping.

wow you have a lovely vintage style which looks deliciously feminine at the same time. It's often hard to get the balance right! I love how bowler hats have totally been subverted and are now a product definitely geared towards girls

And I also really love this hat! I've been wanting to build up my hat collection for the warmer months, so this is some great inspiration!
