1. Nordstrom Boots 2. Suspender Blouse 3. Children in Art History 4. Altamira: Models Off Duty
I found some extra time to edit those photos I was talking about yesterday, but when I got them opened in photoshop, I realized that the camera setting were all jacked up when I took the photos; hence, more onine inspiration! I've said it before (and I'm gonna say it again), my tumblr has been an immense source of inspiration for me lately. It gives me reason to delve deep into the internet in search of inspiration, and it's helping me understand the type of photography and outfits that I really like.
I'm so painfully in love with the look from Altamira: Models Off Duty. The boots in combination with that neutral color palette and such great cold weather materials... love, love, love! The painting is from the late 1800's, and it's so strikingly similar to the other look that it almost looks like the off duty models outfit was inspired by it. Those are the kinds of things I'm noticing on tumblr. Little similarities that reiterate all the things I love.

Those boots are really really neat! XOXO
That model looks stunning, and the boots are awesome! xx
And your tumblr is also my source for online inspiration!! You have the most most impeccable taste. Today, I'm going to try and hunt down a Lula at Barnes & Nobles... I still know in your heart that your fashion writing and styling is going to take you to the holy mountain of fashion writing (Lula! Russh!)
I love this look--it's so proper and feminine but still rugged. I feel like this is something a sassy governess would have worn in some Victorian novel, which is exactly what I would want to be if I lived in a Victorian novel!
