Sync Day: The 70s Trend

It's Sync time again! This week I took to the streets with lots of 70s inspiration. I figured I'd start sharing some of my inspiration too, just so you get a better idea of the things I'm rambling about in my articles. I wish I would've taken more street style photos this week, but I didn't have much luck scouting out any bell bottoms or platforms on the streets of Little Rock. I'm going to have to start picking more realistic (for a smaller city) trends!
Sync Trends: 70s
The guys came through for me this week! Two matching corduroy pieces in one night. I was so thrilled to see it. I loved the color of the pieces too. I even included a photo of Wes Anderson above in honor of all that corduroy and the Fantastic Mr. Fox remark! To read the article, just click on the photo. Enjoy and let me know what you think. To check out the rest of the magazine, visit Sync Weekly and click 'digital edition' at the top right of the page.

Really cool! That's awesome you're able to write for the local paper's (magazine's?) fashion section. I am envious! Does Little Rock have a major fashion scene like other cities? I hope that doesn't sound like an ignorant question, but I've never been to Arkansas (or really any place "down South" except Florida) and I am always curious about the local trends!

Yes! 70s fashion is most definitely the era I most identify with. Love this!

Oh, I do love this trend, especially the aspects of it that you've highlighted. Corduroy, high waists, and long skirts are simply too wonderful to not love. I especially love this trend on men - they look so professor-ly in their corduroy!
What a brilliant opportunity to be able to write about fashion for your local publication - you're a great writer! :)

Great piece! Plus, I love Cameron, so it's, like, a double-bonus. xo.

What, you mean you didn't get any pics of Anja Rubik wearing 70's Chloe jumpsuits on the streets of Little Rock? For shame! Love the article.

Lovely collection! I must say, lately I've been digging brown, textures like coudroy, and bell bottoms.
Groovy!
