Here's a few more items from my thrifting adventures last week. I've been attracted to really preppy things lately! I'm not sure how orange and preppy mesh together, but that's just my changing fashion mood for ya.
I don't know when, where, or how I plan to wear that equestrian bolo clasp, but I've got a few ideas up my sleeve. We'll have to wait and see if they work out! The corn cob pipe was a styling prop purchase, though I might have to break it out in February if we get a good snow. You can't have a Frosty without a corn cob pipe, right?

The Ralph Lauren sweater came from Saver's, new with tags, and surprisingly wasn't hanging behind the cashier counter with a $35 price tag. They're usually real funny about taking what they thing to be designer items and marking them up to sky high thrifting prices. Nine times out of ten, they're knock off pieces anyway.
The shoes are by far my favorite purchase of the day. I've been wanting a pair of two tone flats for a very long time now. I considered buying this pair from ASOS – they're actually quite affordable – but I wanted something that felt a little more vintage. I found the leather and canvas loafers below on Etsy and thought they were great. Unfortunately the size 8 fit like a size 7, and I had to get back out there and search for another pair. Luck must have been on my side, because just a few days later I found those Etienne Aigner loafers at Saver's.

Oh! I love your thrifting posts :D You always find such lovely things!
Weirdly enough I found the exact same pair of loafers here in New Zealand about a year ago (but sold them) I wish I didn't now though I miss them!
Goodness is that pipe really made out of an old corn cob? I thought that was just a nickname (sorry for sounding so foreign)

i'm always jealous of your thrifting finds because i never seem to be able to find anything! i'm especially in love with those shoes and that cardigan (can't wait to see how you wear it). :)
neato shoes!
Ooohhh, great finds! What amazing thrifting luck! The pipe will make for an awesome prop, haha.
Ever since I've started watching Mad Men I've been obsessed with Betty Draper equestrian/preppy look. Thankfully our new Savers in Fort Smith doesn't have clothing behind the counter, I would be mad!
the horse bolo is fabulous!
What a noble steed! I can't wait to see how you style him.
xoxo,
Gina
p.s. loving the orange you've been wearing! It's lovely with your complexion and blue eyes, as well as being so seasonal.

such great finds! a corn cob pipe??? awesome. you could be a grandpa for halloween! or a snowman?
The pipe looks amazing!
Oooh, I love it when thrifted things look so good together and are kind of themed!
That sweater's really great for sure. Don't you like how random the behind-the-counter "fancy" things can be? The thrift stores around here will have some good Coach purses (some of them real, some not!) sitting right next to an N'Sync doll in its original packaging. So weird!
I can't wait to see how you style those new shoes of yours!
I have those same loafers in black! How funny!
