What do me and the Designing Women have in common?

A farewell to summer...

I know I just used this photo in my guest post the other day, but I stumbled upon an interesting fact about the house in the background and I wanted to share it with you. Do you remember the show Designing Women from the late 80's? Well, The Villa Marre house in Little Rock was used in the opening and closing credits of the show. The house was built in 1881 and feautres a beautiful winding walnut staircase along with a a few crystal chandeliers. Unfortunately I know this from reading about it and not from seeing it first hand. I've always wanted to find a way in, but I think that would be creepy since people still live there!

Well that's just crazy! It is a great backdrop for your photos. Your outfit somehow matches the house very well.

How neat! It might be a tad bit creepy but there's an old Victorian house in Corpus that I've been dying to see the inside of for years. I'm totally tempted to go knock on the tour and ask for a tour. Haha! You should do that with this house. You never know. The owners may be thrilled to have you look at their house. hehe :P
