My airplane outfit.

Airplane Outfit

Vintage Dress: Saver's
Cardigan: Thrift
Tights: Target
Shoes: Goodwill
Vintage Samsonite Bag: Flea Market
L'Oreal Shocking Shadow Pigment in Intrepid: Walmart

Today is so insanely busy that I can't believe I'm taking the time to write this post! I had the looks styled for today's photo shoot and then it turned into a night shoot. The looks I styled were so totally day looks that I had to completely restyle everything, just to find out the shoot is canceled until a later time! So pretty much I've got a lot of catching up to do with my packing.

For today's post, I decided I'd just show you what I plan to wear on the plane. I'm always freezing when I'm on an airplane, so I figured it would probably be best that I wear tights and a cardigan. I'm sure I'll regret it once I'm running through the city trying to find my hotel room, but I'd rather be comfy on the plane. I even practiced calling a cab in my photos too! I'm sure it would have to be a lot more aggressive than that, but hey, I'm a small town girl and I don't have much experience with that—thank the heavens Annie's been before.

Oh! For a random makeup moment, I picked up one of my favorite L'Oreal shadows for the trip. Their pigments seem to stay on my lid better than anything else, and I want to look my best in New York. I particularly like this shade for the fact that it's iridescent and changes colors every time I move!

I'll be back with a good NYC recap in just a few days, but stay tuned because I've got a few really great guest bloggers lined up while I'm gone.

This is such a cute airplane outfit! Probably much better than anything I'd wear (or have worn). I think the last time I flew (when I was 15) I wore the pajamas I slept in the night before. Classy.

That last photo of you is so cute! I think the thing I'd be afraid of the most is trying to get a taxi! It looks so hard, but maybe I've watched too much Sex and the City.

you've got a cute airplane outfit! i, on the other hand, look like a bum when i fly. i try to be warm and comfortable, and that usually ends up being jeans, a t-shirt and a cardigan - not so stylish!

Wow! Looking good on a plane AND wearing make-up! I'm extremely impressed. I'm always carrying my weight in carry on luggage so dress for comfort only!
