Sixties Summer

Hooray, horray! I got my remote yesterday.

As soon as I spotted that baby in the mailbox I was off to get ready for some outfit pictures. I did a horrible job of hiding it in my hand, but I really didn't care. I was just so thankful to have it with me. My picture taking time took a total of 10 minutes which is insanely short compared to the old way, and I didn't have to meter for the bushes beside me! We'll see if I can get better about hiding it though.

I'm putting this peter pan collar dress in the shop today if anyone is interested. I found it the other day a Paddywack's, and when the hip area was too small for me I knew I wanted to pass it along through the shop. I still wanted to wear it once though, so I slipped my trusty white skirt on over it. There's one picture down there where you can see it popping out, but I like the photo a lot so I kept it in the set.

Dress: for sell in my etsy shop
Skirt: Saver's $7
Shoes: Urban Outfitters $25
Velvet Bow: from another dress

That dress is so cute! I really really need to buy a remote...maybe next week. I sorta used up this week's money already, haha. But then - I also need a new tripod. Mine's crap.

I need to get a remote, especially since Josh and I are taking our time driving back home, and I plan on making him take lots of couples' pictures!

That dress is too cute. I love how you styled it. I'm still on self-timer, as well. It sucks, but I'd have to buy a whole new camera to get a remote, so alas, here we are.

That dress is absolutely darling! The little eyelet trim is as cute as can be. I've been meaning to get a camera remote as well - I know I'd be a lot better about taking blog photos by myself if I had one!

I've been thinking about getting a remote, but I just got a new new camera and I'm still in the honeymoon stage of our relationship. I'm sure I'll want a remote in a month or two though, haha

I tend to hide my whole arm with the remote or I push it between creases of the dress I am wearing. hehe. I think you hid it well later on in some of these shots!! They are so lovely and you are too as always!!!!

I love the way you put it together. Yes, the remote is so much easier and you take the best self portraits.

You can't sell this dress Starr. It looks too perfect on you!

I have a remote, but always feel like I look like I have a weird claw for a hand when I use it. Still trying to figure that one out. :)
