Little Ocean Annie meet up!

I made it back safely from meet up in Ft. Smith, and now I have tell you how much I adore this girl.

What a delightful soul this Little Ocean Annie is.

Annie was a sweetie pie and bought me lunch at this little cafe as soon as we got there! Of course we did the jabber about our blogs and the blogging community (since we can't really talk about that stuff with our friends at home), and we also did a lot of chatting about our personal lives and experiences over the past view years. It was really nice to hang out with someone who shared such similar interests as me. I mean, I have friends here in Little Rock but no one that I can talk to in depth about all the things I love: blogging, fashion, etc. We went thrifting for a bit, but we really didn't have much luck. All it did was make me appreciate how great Little Rock thrift stores are!

I took a few dresses with me so we could play dress up after lunch, and we were really lucky to find this huge park packed with a track, a couple swimming pools (with slides), a fenced in putt putt course, and a little snow cone stand! Since the dresses reminded me of ice cream already, I figured we could each get a snow cone as an accessory. I'm pretty certain the worker rolled her eyes at us when she heard we were trying to match out treats to our dresses, but I really didn't expect her to understand.

This is Annie's yearbook pose (sorry Annie, it was too cute to leave out)!

We had such a fun day. I'm sad she's moving so far away to Portland, but that just means I'll have to make a trip out to visit her sometime. If you ever get the chance to meet this girl, don't hesitate, just do it!! She's amazing.

All dresses were thrifted by me, and may be sneaking there way to the shop after my busy weekend it over. Let me know if your interested in one, and I'll try to get it in the shop sooner. (Except the yellow one, it has a few hemming errors I need to take a long look at).

you guys look so pretty in your dresses, and how cute that you got snow cones to match!

none of my friends (except the blogger that moved here in january) understand blogging and the whole world of friends you can meet through it, either they have a lot to learn!

You guys are so cute! I wish some bloggers lived by me, I'd love to do a meetup someday. None of my friends really get the whole blogging thing.
Those dresses are all lovely! I hope some of them'll be my size and an affordable price for my tiny budget when you put them in your shop. :)

You two look so cute, like a couple of 1950's girls on summer holiday. The orange check dress is my favourite.

Sounds like a successful meet up. I have yet to meet anyone from the blogosphere although there are a couple people I feel like I already know. All of these dresses are the defenition of vintage fashion. You two look absolutely lovely.

So cute! Aren't blogger meet-ups the best? Bring some dresses when you come to Nashville! Hopefully I'll have my vintage collection back in order when you come my way. I'll only have gotten home from IL 2 days before, so we'll see!

How did you manage the quick change? I've always wondered how to do outfit changes in open spaces. ;P

The first thing I noticed was how the snow cones went with the dresses. Then I just wanted to go find a cherry flavoured ice.
