It's taken me a while to warm up to the 90's grunge thing we have going on in fashion right now, but I'm happy to admit that it's finally starting to grow on me. Don't worry, it's not going to replace my 50's dresses and mini skirts or anything, but I do really like the way these rayon dresses feel in the summer. I got this one back in March sometime (you may remember it from my Yeasayer post), and I'm just now getting to were I wear it a lot, triggered by the hot weather I guess. 'A lot' may even be an understatement. It's the most comfortable dress I have in my closet, and for that reason alone I find myself slipping it on every single day after running my errands and taking my outfit photos. I don't know what it is, but it's the perfect dress to lounge around in while I edit my photos and clean up the house. I just found another one with sunflowers on it too which I was planning on putting in the shop, but now I'm starting to second guess that thought. We'll see.
Aside from the dress, I think the purse really helps make this outfit for me. I've been on the hunt for a good vintage brown bag for a while so I felt like the luckiest girl alive when Annie from Little Ocean Annie sent this one over from her shop. Seriously, I can't stop using it. I've been matching my outfits to it nearly everyday for about a week now!

I love these kind of dresses! So comfortable, and cute too!
This dress looks great on you! It took me a while to get into the 90's revival too, possibly because i remember these dresses from the last time around! xx
Oh man! I think I have that exact same purse. I got it at this weird yard sale-type thing in a shack in the backyard of this sweet old guy in Pennsylvania. I lovvvve it, and I love the way you're wearing it. :)

I really am not fond of 90s fashion whatsoever. You definitely make it look good though!! I guess sometimes you don't really like fashion that you remember people wearing that you didn't like back then too. . .because I hated it in the 90s as well so that's why I started dressing in vintage or vintage styles in the 90s haha. Keep on rockin' all the styles that you wear though!!!! Of course I adore the 50s dresses you show off so well ^_^
Argh I'm loving this look! It's perfect <3 x
love all the brown leather, it's so beautiful on you!

That is the best purse. It really lends itself well to your whole look!! And I love the dress. When I wear my floral 90s dress I usually feel like Dorothy Torkelson. Does anyone remember that show?
aww that dress is amazingly beautiful!
that's one gorgeous purse!!! so lucky! :D
You are wearing the trend well, I must say! And yes the purse really complements the outfit. (:
I love love love this outfit, Starr and that bag is definitely a great find! I love leather bags! It looks very sturdy, which is good! Those boots are amazing too. I need a pair of booties, but I can't seem to find a pair that I can afford! Hope you're having a lovely weekend!

so cute! I love love the boots and the bag is just perfect! ^.^
ADORABLE! Love that purse!
Those boots! I love the whole look but I can't help but share your love/hate relationship with 90s fashion. Some things may have gone seriously wrong there but I have to be grateful that there are 90s floral dresses littering the thrift shops. :)

Rayon is such a remarkable textile. Especially when it's Summer and you live in the south. The dress is lovely on you!
I really love your shoes! That dress does look super comfy! The floralprint is adorable too. :)
those simple 90s grunge dresses are seriously the most comfortable thing in the world. I love it paired with those shoes and that bag, super cute.
