Etsy Update Pt. 4: Blues

Hopefully you guys don't hate me for today's teaser. I added two shirts and two skirts to the shop earlier this evening, and just as I was about to list this sweet vintage swimsuit (seriously, I had the title written and everything) I decided that I needed to keep it for myself. I've had it for a little over a year now and never got around to wearing it, so I thought, why not just let it go to someone who would use it. But then I got to thinking, I don't have a swimsuit anymore. I don't swim. But what if I go to the beach? I don't want to have to go try on a million different swimsuits in the nasty fluorescent light that haunts girls in department store dressing rooms. And well, since having a boyfriend the past couple years, I can't exactly see myself in a bikini anymore either. This vintage swimsuit fits me perfectly, and it doesn't make me feel like I have a big belly and chunky legs. But as for the whole boyfriend/putting on weight thing, I've gotta get that in check before it becomes a huge problem. I need accountability.

That swimsuit is amazing! You definitely need to keep it if it fits perfectly on you! At least it gives me hope that there are swimsuits out there like that for me :)

Vintage swimsuits are so much prettier than modern ones, and that one fits you so well. Lovely photos as ever, i especially love the dandelion one!

That bathing suit is right up my alley. wow. so modest and gorgeous and amazing. but i don't need one because I spent %75 on one from the UK back in February that is old school (shhh. I haven't photographed myself in it yet, it has been a planned shoot for the summer). I really hate that it is so hard to find the right type of bathing suit for ME and then when I find them they cost more than $30. ugh. I love the sweet blue stripes snap button shirt but the bust is too big for me. and I love the gingham skirt but it is slightly too tight in the waist for me too. grrr. I wish you could magically say "be my size" and then POOF there it is, in my size! haha.

hey like i said, i am rocking the blues lately too. 75% of my new items are like chambray or denim or periwinkle blue! also, that bathing suit is amazingly perfectly gloriously YOU! i am so glad you're keeping it. wear it out to california and go to the beach with me. i have a similar one with a little skirt like that. i romp around in it allllll summer. but the skirt gets heavy when you dive in. oh well. not like i'm a long distance swimmer!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for the time when you'd want to part with it again. It's the most becoming swimsuit I have ever seen. :)
