My forest home.

Once I find a nice location for photos that I really like I go back to it everyday and make it my own. By the end of the week I feel like I know the flowers and the weeds from walking around them and studying them for pictures. It's all so familiar, and it's a place that only I know about. I guess it's kind of my forest home away from home, a place where I know I can find peace from the world for just a millisecond of my life. Normally I run from bees and cause a fuzz whenever they're around me, but it's not like that when I see them there. I marvel at them. At the wind. At anything that shows a little sign of life. For the first time since getting my video camera at Christmas, I set up the tripod and made a movie. While I'm still no Sofia Coppola I like to think it's the best one I've ever done. It should be finished by tonight and ready to show you first thing tomorrow.

Vintage Hat: Flea Market $3
Blouse: Saver's $6
Skirt: Going to my shop next week. :)

I love that last photo, it looks like you are gonna dive into the mild into an alternate universe, maybe your very own forest world.

I love places that feel like they belong to you. I love those secret areas that aren't owned by anyone...they still exist undisturbed and just go with the flow of life. I wish there were more places like that, but they seem to be disappearing faster than ever...

You always look so beautiful in blue! I love it :]
