Mobile rings & Monkeycat

I didn't get a chance to take outfit photos yesterday, so instead I'll just show you a couple new things I picked up (and the main reason why I didn't have time for myself).

First up is my new set of rings from Salvation Army. I didn't have much luck at any thrift store yesterday so on my way out of Salvation Army it was nice to find such unique pieces. They're adjustable and cheap as can be, but at 59 cents a pop I saw no reason not to get them. I think the truck is my favorite.

Now for the real treat!

Meet Monkeycat. My friend found her mother outside having babies a few weeks back and feared that the kittens might get eaten so she rescued them and is now trying to find them all a home. We weren't going to take one at first because I'm allergic, but this little lady was so sweet that we feel for her on spot! Her name isn't really Monkeycat (we haven't named her yet), but we always call her that or Monster so we really won't be shocked if either of those names sticks. I've never owned a cat at all and they're just so precious all I want to do is cuddle her and rub her face all over mine, but I refrain in fear that my eyes will puff up and the sneezing will begin. I've been doing okay with the allergies so far, so fingers crossed we'll be able to keep her around.

Any name suggestions are welcome!

That truck ring is so awesome! I don't see a picture of the kitty?! But great that you rescued her; I'm sure she's adorable.

awww so adorable! I'm allergic to cats too :( so I feel your pain. Cats are so cute and don't need much attention ^.^ I hope your allergies won't get too bad dear.

Starr, she is so cute!! I've been terribly allergic to cats all my life, but I always see the kittens this time of year and I want to rescue one! But Gavin always reminds me that I'll end up miserably swollen and sneezy. It might be worth it though, right? :]

I like the rings too, I shall have to make a Salvation army trip soon...it has been awhile!

You always thrift the coolest things. I'm a bit jealous. :D
Having said that: KITTTTTEEEEEEEHHHH! Oh my God, that kitten is precious. I vote for a name that incorporates the word "pants" in it--ie. Fluffypants. That or something vaguely Russian sounding like Natasha.

I adore cats! Ooh name suggestions lemme think...I always love animals with human names like 'Lady Winslet' or somthing like that (am ashamed at the lameness of my name suggestion)

Love love love,

So adorable! I love cats!
For some reason the first name that came to mind was "Tobias".

Good luck on your new kitty!

Starr, those rings are awesome. :)... and MonkeyCat is a cutie!! I wish I could have a cat too, our Pup would love a little friend.. but my hubby is allergic to cats. I have a friend who has a cat that is "hypoallergenic". His name is Boomer (short for Boomerang) and he's from Australia. Maybe I can have a cat like him one day... gotta save up my pennies.

I hope you pick out a great name for MonkeyCat... maybe something that begins with "Miss _______."

xx Love & Aloha

Her name should be 'Oh My God I'm Moving To Nashville To Live With Rachel'!

Zoe? Phoebe? I like names that end in 'e' for kitties because they'll be more likely to come when called (I call mine 'Ollie', though his name is 'Oliver').

she is soooo precious! i think monkeycat is kind of a cute name and i'm sure nicknames will evolve like crazy. my husband used to be allergic to cats but gradually got over it as i've had cats around since the beginning and he just couldn't get away from them. starting out with a little kitten will probably be good for you and by the time she gets bigger and more "allergenic" or whatever, your system will be used to cats! i'm excited for you. there is nothing like a good snuggle with your kitty on a quiet afternoon with a good book.

Adore the rings!

Your new kitty is so precious. I love cats but can't have one since Cole is severely allergic. I once had a cat named Winston and since she was a girl we called her Winnie for short.

aw beautiful kitten. I don't know of a good name for a little kitten. I think something like Romana or Astra.

The kitty is so cute! He looks like a short-haired blue-eyed version of my kitty. My cat's name is Madeline. I was going to name her Mabel but she fit Madeline (we call her Maddie) much better.

first of all, i love that first pin! are they riding a tandem? want it!

secondly, that little kitten looks just like my cat! there are never any cats that look like her, either. you should check out some photos of her on my blog to see what your little kitty will look like when she grows up! my favorite parts are the little orange stripes off her eyes, and freckles on her nose. oh, i could go on forever about her! sadly, i didn't get to name her, because i never knew her as a kitten.

That is the cutest kitten ever!

I love my bunny, Ernest, to death, but most of the time he is just not cuddly. He loves to dig.
