Making wishess in my vintage jumpsuit.

You guys have to be tired of hearing about my Memphis trip, so today I'm getting back on track with the usual outfit posts. I nearly lost this little one piece to Hannah while thrifting in Memphis, but the elastic in the breast had worn and wouldn't stay up on her chest. It would barely stay up on mine either, so when I got home I opened one of the side seams up, pulled out the old elastic and threaded some new elastic through! I really didn't think I was capable of all that, but after giving it a go I found that it really wasn't too hard at all.

I'm really sort of awkward in any kind of one piece since my butt is kind of large, so I plan on listing this lady in the shop some time in the coming weeks.

Vintage Jumpsuit: Thrift $16
Vintage Oxfords: Goodwill $6

I haven't seen too many non-short jumpsuits that I like, but this one is a keeper! The belt is awesome, too! Pretty pretty.

This is such a great piece for spring. And look at you being all crafty. That's way beyond my sewing ability. AND you look amazing in it. I would keep it for awhile before you pass it on.

aww I love love love that last picture so very dearly. It is sweet like you are!! hehe.

Thanks so much for the compliments on my family. I have to agree, biasedly of course.

I got your favourite yeasayer album and Odd Blood too. I haven't listened to them yet, but I do plan on doing so throughout the week. Thanks again for informing people about them. I love lesser known bands and always will. It is sad that these types of bands aren't being played on top 40 radio stations rather than the awful music that is played all the time. ugh.

You look stunning in these pictures! The jumpsuit looks so sweet, I love the little print on it! What you did sounds complicated, but it was worth it to salvage this jumpsuit!

Eep! that's the best jumpsuit ever! Keep it, maybe? I mean: keep it! It looks awesome on you and your booty is not large, it looks fine as gold!

And thank you so much for your sweet sweet comment. I accidentally revealed to my boyfriend the other day that I wanted to go to Bonaroo this year partially just so I could have a chance to meet you and chill with you! Is that a way embarrassing thing to reveal?

Thanks for your comment! I find these pictures so incredibly inspiring, too!

Wow, that jumpsuit is awesome. I seriously need something like this. I was already on the lookout for a long-legged jumper last summer but the ones I found were all too large :( And I honestly do not think that any part of your body is too large to be able to wear something like this, you look great in it!
