I'll be amongst the famous.

Happy Saturday to ya everybody. Today is a big day for me, and I've been dying to tell you guys all about it ever since I found out. First off, it's my last day of work. I'm feeling a little sadness mixed in with a little fear and a whole lot of excitement, but boy, I couldn't have picked a better day to leave. You see, the hotel I work at has been bought out for the evening by Oxford America for an awards presentation. Chris Allen will be their to perform (which meh, I don't really care about), and Ted Dansen and Mary Steenburgen will be amongst the guest (which really isn't too big of a surprise since she's an Arkansas native). The BIG name that I'm most excited about thought is.....drum roll....... MORGAN FREEMAN! I looooove him to pieces, and I'm proud to say I'll be working the V.I.P. room where he and the others will be. I know this is probably funny to you big city girls who see celebs all the time, but I'm from Arkansas and it just doesn't happen. And Morgan Freeman at that! I'm stoked.

I look silly when I do a super model-y face like I did in the last photo. Makes me think of Zoolander!

aw congratulations and have a spectacular time!! Yeah it is a little weird for me in a way being a "city girl" sorta. I went to high school my freshman year and talked a bit with Joie Lenz who was a senior (known now as Bethany Joy Galeotti. . she tried teaching me how to play guitar) from the T.V. show One Tree Hill (still haven't seen the show. . one day) and I performed and hung out with the members of the band Senses Fail(still don't like them) because they went to school with my husband's band mates and yes, have seen quite a few famous people here and there, living so near to NYC (Queen Latifa lives in my town - rich part of the town, I'm in the lower middle class part), but even the city girls go CRAZY over that stuff. I don't, because they are just trying to be normal. :: shrugs :: but I can TOTALLY understand how different that would be from someone who lives in Arkansas compared to in Northern NJ where I live. Morgan Freeman is a BIG BIG BIG name!! I hope you get to shake his hand or get his picture with you! I look forward to the photos from the event and I love the dress on you so much!

I love the wysteria! It doesn't grow here, at least not that I've seen, so I really hope it's still around next week because I'll be hoooommme!!

That's awesome! Whenever Scott gets invites to these fundraising parties in LA, we go, thinking not many people will be there but I get so star struck rubbing shoulder to shoulder with Natalie Portman like last time.
Crazy, right? I can't wait to hear all about it!

Hey, I was just letting you know that I'm tagging you in my little "looks I love" sunday post! Hope it's okay :]

Oh I love your dress, it's stunning! WOW Morgan Freeman, that's so awesome! Have fun Starr! It's funny, I've always considered myself a city girl but I have yet to spot a celebrity on the streets. The last celebrity I was probably the casts of Chuck and that Terminator series at a comic convention!

Morgan Freeman pushed me out of the way to get into his SUV in New York City a few years ago lol. Life is so random sometimes!
