Easter Outfit & Roundup

Did everyone have a great Easter? Mom said I was too old to get candy from the Easter bunny anymore which bummed me out a bit because, frankly, I don't think anyone is too old for hollow chocolates and malted robin eggs, but it ended up okay when I took matters into my own hands and made a trip by Wal-mart on my way home.

-No joke, while I was writing the above sentence Jake walked in and handed me some Easter candy from his work. What great timing my honey has.

I visited the family where we ate lots of yummy southern food and spent the day outside fishing and catching up on each others lives. I wore one of my favorite vintage dresses that I got from Ebay last year which was perfect for the spring season with it's Van Gogh style watercolor design. I felt good, and I had a nice retreat from my usual Sunday afternoons.

I'll end with a nice embarrassing picture of my scrunchy face. Dad told me to act like I was kissing the bass, and I didn't trust him one bit. I had to hold his arm to make sure he wasn't gonna shove it in my face! What a priceless picture though.

Vintage Dress: Thrifted $15
Shoes: Salvation Army $6
Purse: Salvation Army $2 (i think)

I love the south. I'm almost 32 and I at least got a hollow chocolate bunny (and $16 worth of candy that I bought myself. Ha!).

Your dress is beautyful!

YES i MUST hear more about Morgan Freeman!

That dress is stunning on you, and it looks great in the blooming trees. we have a few weeks before pittsburgh flowers explode.

also: my mom got me my two favorite easter candies of all time, and me, being the great dieter that i am, offered them to co-workers. sugar. too good to be so bad.

I've told seriously anyone that would listen your Morgan Freeman story. Again, its pretty much the greatest thing I've ever heard. I would have asked him if he's ever seen thls:

because if he hasn't, he should.

Gonna start walking around with a plate of oysters hoping for a miracle.
