I'm still running with the inspiration I used to style the shoot for my shop the other day, so I guess we can call this a little teaser of what's to come next week. This dress was actually hanging on the sale rack, but when I realized how much inventory I had I decided to pull it out and keep it for myself, at least for now. I'm just too in love with the little touches of faded white roses and all the gathers that fall from the collar. The necklace is another love that I found at a yard sale for a couple bucks. It has a little chime in it like those Chinese baoding balls which brings a subtle smile to my face anytime it hits my desk at school.
Do you ever dream, Forrest, about who you're gonna be?
Aren't I going to be me?

I love this dress. I think my favorite picture is the second to last one. I've been loving getting a different perspective in style photography. Very cool.
And a great Forrest Gump referrence.
This dress is beautiful, and I love that purse! You always find the best stuff. :D

You wear the most beautiful vintage dresses. Very pretty! :-)
I love how the floppy bow and cute socks conjure up the feeling of being a little girl and getting all dressed up. You look adorable!
Sooooo pretty! :) Love the photos!
I like your lunchbox. ;)
Haha, yeah...I have the same rings, except for that bike one. I envy your bike ring. I haven't worn them yet for fear that they'll bend and break and leave me with a ring of green. A coat of clear nail-polish should solve the green-ring dilemma, but I need to figure out a way to reinforce them.
LOLLA! Glad to hear about your experience with the weather. Ah, Radiohead? That must've been epic.
We should definitely do another shoot soon or you should at least use me as your thrifting slave. I'd go willingly. Promise.
Classes need to be over. Then I'll be back to working at Half 0f Half until my trip to SPAIN! Weeee...I'll definitely photograph streetstyle, a la Facehunter.
I love this outfit. So lovely and romantic. The bow and necklace make it perfect, and not to mention those socks!!
And I love the you included the Forrest quote...I love that movie!
wow!! very nice!!
i love how your photos always incorporate details of the setting, little flowers, weeds, a door, old rusty items....you have such an eye for strange and wonderful beauty. speaking of which, this place is beautiful...is it your home? it's true, your images conjur up so much romance in arkansas that it makes me want to go south for some time!
