My little spring southern belles.

My friends Gracie and Amy approached me a month or so back about doing some photos of them (just so they could have some pretty pictures of themselves), and of course knowing me and all the pleasure I take from playing dress up, I jumped at the opportunity. I always enjoy styling clothes for things like this, and even more so now that the spring season has hit. I borrowed a lot of inspiration from the Orla Keily and Nadinoo spring collections with their pretty color palettes and familiar vintage silhouettes, and since I'm really awful at selecting my favorites, there's a bit of an influx of photos your about to see. Well, it's actually not that bad. :)

Aren't the girls so pretty!

On Amy:
Vintage Mint Dress: Saver's $6
Patterned Socks: Saver's $1
T-Straps: A friends
Sash: Scrap fabric
Hat: Goodwill $1
Purse: Thrift $2

On Gracie:
Blouse: Goodwill $4
Trousers: Goodwill $4
Shoes: F21 $24
Socks: Target $5
Tie: Scrap Fabric

your friends are extremely adorable. Do they normally wear clothes like these? I don't have any friends who dress similarly to me at all. One of my best friends has dreadlocks and doesn't shave and such and my other best friend likes asian styles and gap clothes. while another of my best friend just wears big t-shirts and jeans and is very non-fashionable. It is interesting how our friends can have so many common interests and bonds with us even if they don't dress at all like us.

These are beautiful shots- They remind me of Anne of Green Gables (I admit to having an obsession with the miniseries and books) Perfect for the Spring!

Wow, those photos are simply stunning!!! You did an amazing job. I think my favorite may be the one with the antique car, but it's not easy to pick a favorite because they're all so perfect. It looks like y'all had lots of fun!

Thank you so much for leaving a comment on my blog! To answer your question, I live about 20 minutes north of Mt. Ida. I don't get into your area too often, but sometime I'd love to meet up and do some photos or have you show me some of your favorite spots! Sound like a blast. : )
