Back to the Hwy. 5 Abandoned House

Yesterday I got to have not one but two photo shoots with my friends, the first with Gracie and Amy (more on that this weekend) and the second with Kent and Hannah. I dressed myself and Hannah up like southern country girls and we headed out to that scary abandoned house I discovered last week but was too afraid to go into. It's funny, Hannah and Kent had both explored the place before but went back with me so I could see it for myself.

The place was incredible. There were hand prints everywhere and even a room with tons of drawings on the walls. We took so many great photos which means I'm gonna have to stretch this adventure out into two days on the blog. Today I'm going to show you the inside and tomorrow I'm going to show you the outside. Hopefully (if I can get it together), I'll show you a little snippet video of our behind the scenes laughs too. Anyway... hope you enjoy!

great photo shoot! it's so creepy beautiful. you know? like 'oh, i'm going to go and meet that charming family.' 'no don't do it. people go in that house, but they don't come out.' is that the wrong vibe? i love it though. so great. the outfits are amazing. so is the dress you went back to get:)

Good gracious, the photos are beyond amazing, particularly the one of you standing in front of all the colored drawings on the wall. I feel like there is a really creepy but also delightful narrative behind all of these photos, and you were so intrepid to go into that house with all the crazy drawings! This is the most amazing thing I've seen all week, seriously!

And congrats on your NEET feature!!! Are you part of IFB? I want to nominate you for the blogger spotlight so bad!

Wondering around abandoned houses is always a scary experience before you go in, but once inside they are completely worth the worry.

This one is so exception the hand prints/children's paintings/cozy porch are amazing!

Maybe it was a pre-school?

Oh, my God, what a wonderful abandoned house. I feel like it's not even real life--that coloring book-esque wall?? To die for! Such a fascinating location, populated by gorgeous girls. You guys really pull off that style. If only southern country girls ACTUALLY dressed like that...I can attest, they do not. FIE ON YOU, American Eagle.

Awesome photography, but I'm a little wary about abandoned places though, be careful , who knows how structurally sound they are... haha I sound like such a mom.

I love these photos! I love that last photo of both of your friends! And very brave...I have much too wild an imagination (not in the fun way, but in the way I would scare myself silly) to go into that house!

How exciting!!! This reminds me of when I was younger and my friend and I snuck into a creepy abandoned house and found a suitcase full of photos from the 20s, 30s and 40s...

These pictures are truly amazing! I would love to take pictures in that house. Though I gotta admit.. I'd be slightly a bit paranoid that there could be something weird popping up at the back.

I especially love that room with the random drawings on the wall, splendid! Loving the theme of your photoshoot as well. Great post.

this place is spectacular...

just the right amount of run-down creepiness
mixed with the loveliness of aging architecture.
