Sun flares at the Old Mill

How was everyone's New Years celebrations??

I didn't leave work until 12:45 (we paused for some champagne and a count down at midnight) and ended up going straight to a party at the Starlight house on Woodrow to meet my boyfriend, my sister, and all of my other besties. The party was INSANE, complete with a d.j. and a trampoline with options to go on the roof or just to hang out in the front yard. And even though I got their much later than everyone else I was still able to find something to drink and have good time. A few friends came back to our apartment for even more drinks (yikes!) after the party and to listen to some good tracks on vinyl for an all in all memorable New Years.

And despite that fact that my sister was completely hammered last night(she was being sooo funny), I still managed to get her out of the apartment for some shopping at Saver's where I scored some really great vintage sweaters, for some outfit photos at the Old Mill where we caught lots of sun flares, and for a short trip to Charlotte Russe where Kristi hunted down her birthday outfit (she's 26 tomorrow). I swear that store is the broke mans Anthropology and I just love it.

Good thing you still got to celebrate your New Year!

I've heard that Savers' is really a great place to thrift all beautiful things. Ohhhh anyway, you look so stunning here with that sweater top and the lovely skirt too.

I'm definitely jealous of the vintage clothing you find in your area, I only ever find unflattering '80s clothes at the thrift stores in the Northwest Arkansas area... not sure why that is!

Hi :) I found your blog not too long ago and was just looking through some of your posts (it'll take awhile to catch up on everything)!
Well, I just wanted to say I love all your photos! These sun shots here are so lovely -- and that dress looks so pretty!! I'm not quite the expert with my own digi-cam quite yet...:P
