Elena Kholkina and The Virgin Suicides.

Is anyone else into floral wallpaper like I am right now?

I have been for a while, but after seeing those pretty walls in the Urban Outfitters lookbook the other day I was reminded of how much I adore them and how badly I want them in my bedroom. Since we're only renting our apartment for now I'm scared to put too much work into the place in the case that we decide to move. I would hate to have to tare them down after hours of hard work. I guess that's why I settled with decorating my blog wall for now; it was a lot easier, a lot cheaper, and much less of a burden on my fickle mood.

Enough about the wallpaper though, more importantly, I wanted to show you these Virgin Suicide themed photographs that were done by an insanely talented photographer named Elena Kohlkina. I thought you guys might enjoy them, especially after so many of you commented on my last V.S. post. In case I didn't get back to you then, yes I have read the book, and yes I looooved it.

Yes I know what you mean about floral wallpaper. I can't put any up either so I'm currently on the hunt for the perfect floral bedsheets to make up for it!

I love the first photo.
I know what you mean about the wallpaper, and the amount of effort that goes into to putting it up, and even more effort it takes to get it down.

I think I'd like to put wall paper on just one wall (the smaller one that is interrupted by two doors but no windows)and coordinate it with the paint that is already up. I believe it could look quite lovely.

Gorgeous photos. I also LOVE floral wall papers, but we're not allowed to paint or wallpaper in my apartment. I've also read Eugenides book and it's awesome. Annie.
