Cashmere, Sequins, Ruffles, and Cotton?

Yet another week down and still no color in my life.

Well I take that back, my life is rather colorful at the moment, it's my outfits that seem to be a bit lifeless. Who know what's going on there, but if it's not black, white, grey, or some sort of cream color my eyes don't even notice it when skimming through the closet. I tried to get creative in remixing my Miley Cyrus skirt so you guys wouldn't get completely sick of seeing it over and over again, so with this look I layered it over my sheer, black Forever 21 skirt. I think it gave it a fresh look, and I was happy to have the added length (the Miley skirt is sooo short).

Shirt: My Favorite Thrift Store $6
Top Skirt: Miley Cyrus for Walmart $14
Bottom Skirt: F21 $15
Tights: Walmart $2.50
Shoes: U.O. $55
Belt: Wet Seal (long time ago)
Cashmere Cardigan: My Favorite Thrift Store $5

Ohh so cute!! I love this outfit of yours!! I thought it was just one skirt, but the two look great! Definitely a fresh look! My favorite is the first pic!

This look is so soft and Victorian -- love it! Starr, I wanted to ask you, any more thoughts on doing a guest post on those Victorian photos we discussed a while back? Just curious -- no rush!!

What a skank that Miley is with her short skirts! Good call throwing the FE21 skirt under it, looking cute!

Okay, you're way too good at thrifting! I love outfits like this and there's no shame in wanting to wear a gray cashmere sweater all the time (I do!) You're looking pretty and your photos are so soft and romantic always.

i LOVE this outfit. the ruffles on your shirt are perfect with the cardigan and that's so genius to layer your skirts for a whole new look. my eyes tend to notice all the grays, whites, and blacks in my closet first as well haha :)

btw i got the sweater in the mail today and i'm in love! can't wait to wear it!

I love seeing new posts from you pop up on my Bloglovin :]

I love that top! I wish I could wear something like that, but I just feel like my shoulders are too broad and it doesn't flatter them. It might just all be in my head though.

This is adorable, not lifeless at all! Everyone seems to find amazing blouses at thrift stores, I am going to the wrong stores!!

I say dress for your mood. If you don't want color, don't do color. You look beautiful either way!
