Holiday Hiatus

Golden Girl

Oh dear, has it really been a week plus since I've posted anything? I guess I've kinda lost track of posting with all the holiday preparing that comes with December-- Christmas shopping for my abnormally large family, Christmas tree picking and decorating, holiday parties-- I just can't even keep up! I don't know why I'm whining, I love all the hustle and bustle and the nostalgia that comes with the season। I like to imagine life as it was in the "Miracle on 34th Street" days when Christmas seemed less materialistic and more about family and giving. I'm usually annoyed this time a year, mostly because of silly Christmas music from the Mariah Carey's and Jessica Simpson's in the world, but this year is different. There's always the most lovely Christmas music playing at my new job, and I just know you guys would love it. Elvis, Johnny Cash, The Jackson Five, and tons of other vintage-y tunes...ah, it's replenished my Christmas spirit!

Ruffle Blouse: Thrift $5
Sequin Brooch: from a thrifted dress $5
Vintage Skirt: Saver's $6
Sequin Belt: Forever 21 $4
Cardigan: Hand-Me-Down
Tights: Forever 21 $5
Ruffle TStraps: Old Navy $30

Oh yes, still playing with the new layout too. I've commissioned my boyfriend to do some designs for me so hopefully I'll be able to have something for the new year within the next couple of weeks.

And as for that Perricone foundation giveaway winner, congratulations to Christine from Petit Maverick. All the answers were so good and definitely skin issues I can relate to, I appreciate all of you who took the time to enter. Christine will have to give us a review!
