Girl scout or sexy Nazi?

I got both when I wore this dress.
Although I hate the Nazi reference, I can see how someone would associate the two. The dress is from the 40's and is definitely something all those war time ladies would wear, but did he have to drop the "n" word. It totally made me rethink this dress. German nurse perhaps?

Either way, I still love it.

my first thought when i saw this outfit was more like "girl scout", even though we're talking about the 40's in germany at the moment. maybe you could wear a black belt with the dress to avoid the "nazi" remarks, because it's a really pretty dress and it would be a shame if you wouldn't wear it because of stupid comments

Just cos it is khaki does not mean it's Nazi-esque! I can see Girl Scout though. It's actually a maid dress, I think. I have a similar one in my etsy shop. I love the pleats and piping.

I dont see sexy nazi at all! I think this is a super cute dress! I see Girl Scout more than anything.

Oh this is such a cute lil dress. I like the red in it. People with their nazi comments need to grow up. It's more girl scout, but not really either one. Regardless it looks like you enjoyed wearing it, so that's all that counts. =)

It is a very cute dress and I wonder what that kid has been reading/watching to connect it with Nazi Germany. However, I do want to also say I have been wanting to wear knee highs, but the look is hit-or-miss for me. This is a definite hit!
