The Mary Poppins Sorta Glad.

Thursday
10/8/09

Did I mention that the wrap skirt I wore in the last post is reversible?
Today I decided to wear it again, only this time on the calico print side. I picked it up this weekend at an old lady rummage sale for $1 and I'm so excited that I've already been able to get so much use out of it! This look felt so much like a modernized Mary Poppins, mostly because of the giant Gladstone bag. It looks big enough to hold a lamp or a horse or whatever else my imagination can muster for that matter!

Denim Jacket: Old Navy (from years ago)
Vintage Blouse: Ebay $2
Vintage Wrap Skirt: Rummage Sale $1
Tstrap Sandals: Goodwill $6
Straw Fedora: Forever 21 $12
Vintage Gladstone Doctor Bag: Estate Sale $2

I love love that you paired it with the white top and denim jacket with the hat tooo. Really pulled this look off to perfection.

And the gladstone bag is so so pretty ! Ohhhh,I've always wanted to buy one.but all that shipping after, its too expensive to ship it here.

I like the calico print side of your skirt better, and I am so jealous you got that bag for so cheap! We don't have anything remotely similar to yard sales or estate sales here, so we don't really get the chance to acquire such gems!If it was here they would sell the bag for so much money!
